Inspiring success for learning with diversity
Catholic Education NT and SRA head to the national Innovation Awards after taking out the Merit in the Business Service Markets Category in the NT & SA iAwards.
In March 2019, SRA Information Technology (SRA) in conjunction with CENT, launched an innovative new “EduTech” software product called; INSPIRE – learning with diversity.
In June, INSPIRE won the Merit award after beating the competition from across the NT and South Australia in the Business Service Markets Category of the NT & SA Innovation Awards. This was announced at the awards ceremony and gala dinner event held at the Adelaide Convention Centre in front of a record breaking crowd including the SA Premier, Government Minsters and other VIPs.
The INSPIRE solution is an integrated software platform, that helps to identify students with learning disabilities, then suggests processes and teaching strategies based on the category, severity and demographics of the student. At the same time, INSPIRE collects all evidence required for the Nationally Consistent Collection of Data (NCCD) scheme and helps schools submit their annual reports to secure funding for adjustments required to implement inclusive education practices.
These annual awards are hosted by Australia’s peak ICT body, the Australian Information Industry Association (AIIA). The iAwards is Australia’s longest running and most broadly scoped innovation recognition program, promoting excellence in the Australian digital ecosystem from the likes of Google Maps, Atlassian, Wotif and WiseTech Global.
